Connection test failed while using proxy. What to do (proxy is 100% works, I create thsi topic via it)?

If the high bidder amount is $10 and my snipe amount I set is $40. And the high bidder has $30 set as his maximum. Will the software or ebay take my $40 snipe amount and bid it up to $31 in increments? Or does it just automatically place my high bid amount of $40?

This forum needs a FAQ. This has probably been asked a bunch of times. But I couldn't find it searching.

I am getting these messages while trying to set up a snipe from Firefox and Chrome as well. Just re-installed Myibidder software but the problem still there.

Please advice.

I have posted this yesterday but my post disappeared somehow.

When I try to bid from Firewall or Chrome browser add-on I am getting the following message:

"No eBay search results in your browser."

I have re-installed the Myibidder software - the problem stays.

Please advice.

I was bidding on item 57231430 and my bid wasn't placed for me. Could yoou check and see what happened?

Installing myibay with the Chrome extension checked under the current (as of the post date/time) version of Chrome (10.0.648.204) will cause a code 2 error (cannot find specified file, sorry didn't write the whole thing down).

The software will finish installing and it will appear to work correctly, but would not add or change any values already set through the web version.

I uninstalled/reinstalled with every combination of the 3 available extensions (FFox, Exp 9 and Chrome) checked or unchecked, and only Chrome caused this.

The software works fine now as I reinstalled using just the Firefox extension, just thought I'd let you know and maybe help out anyone else experiencing this bug.

c. Some minor cosmetic UI improvements

Limitations:
a. No Groups management yet
b. No Import Watching list feature yet

Known bugs (should not affect sniping):
a. On some phones with low memory you can't load more than about 100 items at once
b. Some information is not getting updated automatically
c. If your time is out of sync, the ending time may show up slightly offset but it does not affect sniping.

However, the snipe these search does list 49 results.

- it does not take the category options
- it does not take the search limit (max 25 hits)

Is it a problem of ebay.de?

I really wanted it too. Cheked that snipe was activated - yes, and my amount was more than the final price.

I myibay auto-bid for items everyday - why did this one not work.

Can I still trust this tool?

I activated a snipe and changed the snipe to 4 seconds before auction ends but the auction ended at a lower price than my maximum snipe bid.

Did eBay have a new guard or filter against Myibidder?

One of my snipes didn't go through today. Why?

I have numerous snipes that I've set over a several day period (from 1-6 day ending times). When I go back to check and refresh, I find they are now inactive and I have to reset and change/update the snipes. Then the next day the same thing happens.

Hi as I am new to using myibidder I need some help.
Have made a snipe bid for an item on ebay but could not see on the checklist'My Bid' confirmation of the bid I had made. This concerned me as I was new to the system. Having tried a couple of times to find my bid on the checklist for the same item and failed I gave up and cancelled my bid.

Hope you can help.

I figured out how to delete a snipe I'd placed, but my initial thought was to look on the item page that had the snipe on it. A button in the snipe info area would be great, and make things much easier and user friendly.

Just downloaded the software based myibidder and sniped two items whose auctions finish over 12 hours from now.

Decided that I would like to check that I can cancel snipes and how that is done should I decide to do that only to find that the snipes cannot be canceled from the software package. Upon deactivating the snipe and applying the change the original snipe re-enters itself into the fields.

After reading the forums, I could only find info on cancelling snipes through the online component of this application. Which I did and refreshed my desktop software to find that the cancellation does flow through. I just cant do it from the software which makes me beg the question why should I install the software.

I find myself scratching my head even further when I see that the GUI of the online version of this application is much better to read and easier to navigate. Again I ask, why pay money for the downloaded version?

Would be nice if you guys could have a desktop widget that can always be pinned to top (if so chosen by user) that shows live info on any items that are currently awaiting to be sniped and giving an instant alert if your snipe has been outbid.

Please let me know if you have another skin for the downloaded version and if it is possible to cancel snipes. At this point, I am not really impressed with the downloaded version. Thankfully it's a trial.

Will still keep exploring the trial with an open mind ;)

I have used this snipe a number of times without a problem, but I just lost the most incredible deal ever on ebay and I need to know what went wrong so I can decide whether to risk snipes anymore!

Item is 170633498397 and my snipe was set to more than twice the amount the winning bidder paid, 5 seconds before completion.

Was it something I did??

My snipe said the bid amount was too low and therefore didnt submit. My snipe amount was for 13.52 and the winner of the auction won at 12.51. How the heck was my snipe amount too low???? Very frustrating! And yes, this was submitted well before end of auction.
