I am using the firefox plugin and I can right click snipe it with myibay.com. I then get a popup with the ebay.co.uk item in it and a box to add username and password but it will not accept the username and password. I have checked the username and pswd and they are correct. Does the web based system work with ebay.co.uk?

Yes, this system works with eBay UK. If your password was not accepted, it may be not strong enough.
Please update your password to a stronger one (i.e., if you have a dictionary word, adding a few digits will do).
