Chrome logs in fine, however in Opera (my default browser) it says 'wrong user ID and/or password' when trying to log in. No such error on Chrome

It seems like you are using different eBay logins in your Opera browser. Please check.

Weird as, today it works fine after logging in on Chrome the other day. I was definitely using my right user name and password (I only have one Ebay account), I use the Lastpass plugin to save them also.. anyway working now so disregard :)

Interesting. I could only guess that you may had different passwords saved in your Lastpass plugin.
If you think this is not possible, then my second guess regarding cache in your Opera browser. If you ever see the same issue again, try to clear the cache and restart your browser.
